Weeks ago, an NBC News correspondent flew down to Florida to sit with five of us from Leaving MAGA — former Trump supporters — and record nearly three hours of conversation.
We told him why we joined, why we left, and what our lives look like now.
Now, Katy Tur has aired it. Every person who’s contributed to this mission was in that room with us.
We ended up here entirely through word of mouth, because what we’re doing is working.
Momentum like this doesn’t happen without your support — thank you!
During filming, David Noriega, the correspondent, asked each of us how we’d changed. My answer was very simple: that you stop performing and start thinking for yourself again.
June has been an incredible month. MS NOW, The Lincoln Project podcast. A film crew at our support group. Two separate billboards three miles from Mar-a-Lago and another in The Villages.
We head into July with more momentum than we’ve ever had — and more people watching than ever.
Our goal is to have billboards in all 50 states.
We don’t want to leave any stone unturned.
There are just 24 hours left in the month. Help us keep this tremendous momentum going!
Thanks for being with us on this odyssey,
Rich
