Yesterday, on a Zoom call, someone said, “A movement isn’t a movement until it moves without you” — and it really stuck with me.
That’s exactly what I see Leaving MAGA becoming before my eyes.
A true movement that’s moving without me. Because it’s never been about me.
Next week, members across our country are joining with Visibility Brigade on a Leaving MAGA signage action.
Visibility Brigade is an organization that helps people coordinate pro-democracy signage on overpasses, sidewalks, and other public spaces.
Right now, 19 locations across the country are committed to posting Leaving MAGA signs.
Of course, I’m not going to be at all of those 19 locations. I’m not even responsible for coordinating them. These are simply people, all over America, who are passionate about letting people know who Trump really is.

Signage like this will be featured on overpasses all across the nation— meaning that thousands, even tens of thousands of drivers, will see the name “Leaving MAGA” for the first time, and some will be curious enough to look us up and learn more.
That’s how the word spreads. That’s how we get our name out there. And that’s how our movement grows.
It’s the same model we’ve used to bring in people as we’ve expanded the footprint of our billboards. We know that piquing people’s interest with this messaging works because it has been working on the billboards we’ve already put up in 29 states.
It’s your support that’s made those billboards possible. Some of our boards were paid for outright by passionate individual donors, like the one below in Southaven, Mississippi.
Many more were paid for through collective grassroots efforts from messages like the one you’re reading right now.
It’s crunch time — there are just 35 days left to Election Day — and we’ve got to make sure we get our message to as many people as possible in the few weeks left.
