It’s been one year since Donald Trump was inaugurated for his second term.
In that time, he’s fired 317,000 federal employees — people who protected our water, prosecuted corruption, inspected our food, and kept our communities safe.
He’s carried out 2.5 million deportations — tearing families apart and terrorizing communities across the country.
He’s signed 228 executive orders in just over a year — more than any president in their first year — because he can’t be bothered with Congress, democracy, or the normal legislative process.
He’s enriched himself and his family to the tune of billions of dollars.

He’s sued news organizations into submission, threatened to fire Federal Reserve officials, captured Venezuela’s president while announcing the U.S. would “run the country” and take their oil, and threw a tantrum over not receiving a Nobel Peace Prize.
Federal agents have shot and killed civilians in American cities. Babies have been hospitalized by ICE flash bangs.
This is what authoritarian consolidation of power looks like.
But here’s what else happened in the past year: Leaving MAGA has grown stronger.
We’ve welcomed others who left MAGA. Our weekly support groups are full of people finding their way forward. We’ve shared dozens of stories of people who left and built better lives on the other side.
While Trump has been tearing things down, we’ve been building something up — a community that proves it’s possible to leave and thrive.
If you have someone in your life who supported Trump, they’re likely watching this unfold, too. Maybe they’re defending it. Maybe they’re quietly questioning.
What they thought they voted for — someone who would fight for working Americans, who would make things better for people who felt left behind — isn’t what’s happening.
And more people are realizing that every day.

And right now — after one year of this — we’re hearing from more people than ever who are ready to leave but don’t know how.
Chip in today to help us reach everyone who’s ready to leave MAGA.
Your donation helps us share stories of people who left so others see a way forward, host free weekly support groups for families navigating MAGA relationships, and much more.
One year is enough.
Thanks for being with us in this odyssey,
Rich
P.S. Join us EVERY TUESDAY! Our support groups for those who still have family and friends in MAGA meet Tuesdays at 7pm ET. You can get all the details and join here!
