Leaving MAGA has been in the news nonstop these last few weeks — and it’s all thanks to you!
Most recently, you may have spotted us on Morning Joe on MS NOW.

Clips from our panel interview have also aired on several other MS NOW shows.
On Morning Joe, panelists spoke about their experiences with MAGA, with one young woman noting that she’d grown up around MAGA supporters, and another saying she fell deep into the “trad wife” life.
All panelists describe being cut off from the outside world and surrounded by fellow MAGA supporters, reading and watching only right-wing news sources.
“I did believe the election was stolen. I did believe the rioters were patriots,” recalled one panelist, “until I actually switched off Fox News and started getting my news from other places. That’s when it hit.”
This experience aligns closely with my own.
I often speak about how I began to diversify my media diet, and soon after, realized that I’d been lied to.
MAGA is only able to thrive when people are hearing one story: Trump’s story.
That’s why Leaving MAGA exists: to ensure that people finally hear the other side of the story.
As people who were once members of MAGA, we can get people to listen where others can’t. We aren’t seen as outsiders, angry liberals, or preachy evangelists.
There’s a reason so many TV shows are reaching out to us. There’s a reason people are listening.
We’ve got four months until Election Day, and every hit — Morning Joe, a story that shocks even lifelong Republicans, another person who finally switches the channel — is a door opening for someone still inside.
Your gift of $10, $25, or $50 keeps us walking through every one of those doors.
Thanks for being with us on this odyssey,
Rich
