Secret grand jury testimony from Georgia’s election interference case just got unsealed. Republicans who Trump trusted — Lindsey Graham, Brian Kemp, and others — gave testimony under oath in 2022 about what they actually thought.
Graham told the grand jury he told Trump “more times than we can count that he fell short” and that “if you told him Martians came and stole votes, he’d be inclined to believe it.”
Georgia’s Republican Governor called Trump’s plan to overturn the election a “fruitless exercise.”
They knew the entire time.
I knew, too, even when I was in it. I never believed the election was stolen. That was one of my “cracks in MAGA,” the thing I couldn’t quite make myself buy, no matter how hard I tried.
And most people in the GOP, the donor class, the consultants? They don’t believe it was stolen, either. But they’re shameless.
I’ve got this hypothesis about Trump — I think part of his behavior comes from knowing he’s mocked and disrespected by a lot of people within his own party. He knows what they really think.
Now he’s out here telling Reuters we shouldn’t even have midterm elections.
People are realizing they’ve been lied to. It’s 2026 and the midterm elections are coming. Now more than ever — especially with Trump putting us on high alert — we need to help MAGA voters see their way out.
ICE agents in Minneapolis fired a flash bang grenade at a van this week. Six children were inside. Three were hospitalized, including a 6-month-old baby. Federal agents shot a second person that same day.
Trump’s now threatening the Insurrection Act — so he can deploy the military against American citizens on American soil.
The Georgia testimony confirms what a lot of people in MAGA have been feeling without being able to put words to it. This wasn’t Trump getting bad intel or making some honest mistake.
The lie was deliberate from the start, and we’re watching in real time where it leads. Babies in hospitals. Americans getting shot in the streets by their own government.
When people are ready to leave, we need to be there.
We can turn this country around.
