“The biggest rug-pull in history.”
Those aren’t our words.
That’s Rex, a 55-year-old Trump voter from California.
He lost friends because of his vote, and his mother wouldn’t talk to him for a month.
But he went all in on Trump — he was going to “drain the swamp” and take down the “Deep State.”
Now one year in and Rex says he feels “completely betrayed.”

And he’s far from alone.
A focus group conducted this week after the murder of Alex Pretti in Minneapolis shows Trump voters are walking away.
Ramiro, 57, from Florida, said he knew Trump’s history going in. He wasn’t naive. He just thought Trump was the one who would focus on what actually matters. What was needed.
And what did he get instead?
“It’s almost like it’s ‘Wag the Dog,’” Ramiro said in the focus group. “It’s a distraction to avoid attention…but his distractions make things even worse.”
Trump fixating on winning a Nobel Peace Prize, which he says “is ridiculous,” is one of the distractions creating this chaos and noise.
Ramiro said it’s forcing people to look away from the administration’s handling of the Jeffrey Epstein files. And all of these distractions come while the economy tanks.
He pointed to what’s happening in Minneapolis. “You know, Minneapolis is crazy.” The administration claims Alex Pretti was armed and dangerous. ”They’re out of hand.”
People watched the videos and saw the truth with their own eyes.
These are Trump’s own people. The ones he promised to fight for. And they’re done with the lies and betrayals.
What’s happened in Minneapolis over the last three weeks — Renée Good, Alex Pretti, Liam Ramos — it’s broken something.
We’ve been watching Trump voters increasingly question things for the past year, but this? This is different.
People aren’t willing to defend this administration anymore.
Leaving MAGA exists for moments like these. We give people space to process what they’re witnessing. A community that gets it. Weekly support groups for families dealing with loved ones still in.
Every person who walks away is one fewer vote for MAGA in the midterms.
People are ready. They just need a place to land.
Can you help us be there when they’re ready?
Thanks for being with us in this odyssey,
Rich
P.S. Join us EVERY TUESDAY! Our support groups for those who still have family and friends in MAGA meet Tuesdays at 7pm ET. You can get all the details and join here.
